Located off East Cesar Chavez, Jacoby’s has become a new Austin hot-spot for southern comfort food and craft cocktails.
The mix of their rustic and southern charm makes for a unique, fine dining experience.
Jacoby’s is the perfect place for an after work drink at the bar with a great Happy Hour Menu from 5-6pm.
Pictured is one of their signature cocktails, Secret Beach. A very refreshing choice for a hot Austin day. The cucumber infused Tito’s vodka is the perfect touch.
Another winner is their signature Melvin Mule. The Ancho Reyes has a nice kick to it and gives a unique twist to your typical Moscow.
You can grab a bite off their dinner menu and enjoy a gorgeous view of the Colorado River from their spacious and comfortable patio. Beef is their speciality and all is bred, born, raised and processed in Central Texas on the Jacoby Family Farm. The beef tartar was a special dish the night we went and was absolutely divine.
Their family style dishes make it easy to split and share among a larger group. We tried the Fried Brussels Sprouts and they were phenomenal. We also enjoyed the Pimento Cheese and Hand Battered Pickles from the Happy Hour menu and later shared the Cheese Plate and Potato & Smoke Gouda Dumplings from the appetizer menu.
1.Plan on making reservations if you want to come in for dinner, because of their popularity, the restaurant tends to fill up quickly.
2.Take advantage of the complimentary valet as there are not many other parking options.
3. Ask bartender, Michelle for a surprise cocktail not on the regular menu, she knows what she’s doing.
